Recipes live in browser tabs, shopping lists in notes, and household plans in messages or someone’s memory. Keeping everyone in sync takes too much effort, and small things are too easily forgotten.

Roef brings recipes and a shared shopping list together, so a household can plan, shop, and cook from the same information.
That means less searching, fewer forgotten groceries, and less dependence on one person to keep everything organized. Everyone can see what is needed and contribute.
Our name
Why Roef?
Roef, pronounced “roof,” is a Dutch word for the cabin or deckhouse on a boat: a sheltered place where people come together.
That is what we want Roef to be for everyday home life—a shared, dependable place where recipes, lists, and the people using them belong together. Everything under one Roef.
